•They were expectant

•They were obedient – Acts 1:4

•They were unified – Acts 2:1

•They were in prayer – Acts 2:1

III. The Holy Spirit Arrives

•The Baptism was instantaneous

•Their hearts were purified Acts 2:3, 15:8 & 9

•They were filled with the Holy Spirit Acts 2:4

IV. The Impact of Spirit Baptism:

•A new age was inaugurated

•The disciples received power (1:8)

  Power for victorious living
  Power for evangelism
  Power for service
