Local Missions

LifeChurch has been and continues to be involved in Local Mission outreach to the needy. Whether it is raking leaves for elderly in the community, serving meals to the needy at the local community center, or packaging meals for Feed My Starving Children, our aim is to be a blessing to both body and spirit. God cares for all, and so must we.

Some of our Local Missions include:

Creekside Community Support

Several times a year the Local Mission Team prepares and serves a meal for the Loaves and fishes program in Bloomington. This hot meal is served to the elderly and the needy. Everyone from teenagers to seniors participates in making and serving these meals and also visiting and ministering to the people.

Feed My Starving Children

Feed My Starving Children is a ministry that ships food to starving children and adults around the world. LifeChurch participates in this ministry by packaging and boxing the food. Each packet of food contains all the nutrients you need for the day. Many children's lives have been saved by this ministry. Members of our church from 3rd graders and up volunteer at this vital ministry.

Proverbs 14:21 He who despises his neighbor sins, but happy is he who is gracious to the poor.

Proverbs 19:17 One who is gracious to a poor man lends to the LORD, and He will repay him for his good deed.
